Michigan Home Energy Rebates

Would the state pay for your insulation?

Up to $20,000 of approved work, and for lower-income households it can cover the job in full. These questions work out whether your house is the shape the program is built for.

Eleven quick questions. None of them about your income.

Michigan has four programs paying toward insulation, air sealing and heating. This works out which one fits your house, and what to do next. It takes about two minutes and there is nothing to pay.

We ask about the house — how old it is, how it is heated, what it does in January. The programs verify income themselves, so we never ask it and never need to.
