  • What is in it. Appliances, furniture, a treadmill, dismantling old shelving and construction debris all take longer and take up more trailer than boxes do.
  • Anything needing separate disposal — paint, solvents, fuel, propane and garden chemicals cannot go in a general load.
  • Whether you want storage building afterwards. Wall systems, shelving and overhead racks are a carpentry job on top of the clear-out, and they are the part that stops it refilling.

Disposal is billed at cost with the receipt, so the tip fee is visible rather than buried in a round number.

We take household junk and boxes, furniture, mattresses, appliances, bikes and sports gear, lawn equipment, old shelving, carpet, construction debris, scrap timber, yard waste and electronics. We cannot put liquid paint, solvents, motor oil or fuel, propane cylinders, pesticides and pool chemicals, car batteries, ammunition or suspected asbestos in a general load — those are separated and pointed at the right household hazardous waste collection.
