The problem
A tenancy had ended and the property had not been emptied. The house still had furniture and refuse in most rooms, and the detached garage at the back was full enough that you could not walk into it — furniture, bagged refuse and loose household waste, floor to bench height.
What it took
A lead on site for four hours plus two labourers at ten hours each and two hours of added contractor time — 26 technician-hours in a day, $852.09 all in. The property manager’s own trailer and dumpster were used because that was cheaper than ours; two boxes of contractor bags came off our stock and are on the invoice at cost.
