Most of Holt went up between the 1960s and the 1980s, and that one fact explains almost every job here: the original systems reached the end of their lives together, so people call with a list rather than an item. Ground water sits higher near the river and the older housing predates vapour barriers, so basements run humid year-round even when they never flood — and the fix is outside the house, not a coating on the inside of a wet wall.
